Travels Continued...

On President’s Day, we went sledding in Utah. This was The Boy’s first time. He only went a twice and got scared both times. Since we were at the family reunion, we chipped in together and got a snowmobile to run people up the hill after they slid down. I loved driving the snow machine. It brought back wonderful memories of my growing up years and being with my own family. We had a fun family home evening burning bad memories and sharing positive happy memories.

On Tuesday, L4 and I tried to go to Logan, but it had been snowing so the pass was very difficult to get over and returned back to the cabin. We spent the time playing games, reading a classic by Louis L’Amour, and chasing The Boy.

We went to Idaho on Wednesday to spend time with my family. My Dad showed L4 a carpentry shop with an incredible set-up. L4 couldn’t stop talking about the shop. He thought it was amazing.

We played with cousins, went to Lava Hot Springs, and wedding dress shopping.

We went to an ISU basketball game where The Boy met Benny the Bengal. He was terrified of Benny at first.

Saturday and Sunday we returned home safe and sound. We love to be with family!
